THE BEST ASHIATSU MASSAGE IN DENVER
Live your biggest and most wonderful life possible
At Denver Deep, Ashiatsu is the only thing we do, refined through continuous training with Ashiatsu instructors and advanced myofascial release education every year. This is corrective bodywork, not a surface-level massage.
Ashiatsu is ideal for chronic pain conditions such as back/hip pain, shoulder pain, limited range of motion, plantar fasciitis, and tennis elbow. It's also extremely beneficial for cross-fitters, runners, cyclists and all types of athletes for the prevention of injuries, increased range of motion, fast recovery, and long-lasting results.

ASHIATSU MASSAGE IS GREAT FOR…
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is the heart of this work. Every stroke is deliberately slow, because fascia doesn't respond to speed or brute force. It responds to sustained, patient pressure.
Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps every muscle in your body. When it gets "stuck," it restricts movement, distorts posture, and generates the chronic tension you feel day after day. Slow, constant pressure dispersed across the whole foot gives your body permission to relax into depth it would otherwise brace against. That's what restores glide and pliability between the fascial layers, and that restored glide is where the real, lasting change happens.
Sports Massage & Athletic Recovery
This is one of the best recovery tools you can put into your regimen. Recovery is crucial to athletes because the faster you can recover, the faster you can perform at the level you want to. Recovery is especially vital as you get older.
The best time to book is about a week before or after your competition or big event. Giving your body a few days to hydrate and begin its own repair process makes the work dramatically more effective and more comfortable.
PLantar Fasciitis Treatment
Plantar fasciitis rarely resolves with gentle massage alone. Lasting change requires intensive connective tissue work, and it doesn't stop at the foot. The plantar fascia is directly continuous with the calf and Achilles, so restriction there feeds tension straight into the heel. A session addresses both: direct work through the plantar fascia, and significant time in the calf and Achilles, where much of the problem actually originates.
Paired with lifestyle changes and home exercises, clients see real, lasting progress.
Addressing Trigger Points
Trigger points are the taut, irritable bands in muscle tissue that refer pain elsewhere: the spot in your shoulder that sends pain up your neck, the hip that lights up your low back. Traditional trigger point work hunts them one at a time with a thumb or elbow. Ashiatsu Massage works differently. The broad surface of the foot covers entire regions of tissue at once, addressing trigger points across a whole muscle group in a single pass, instead of chasing each one individually. Clients describe a complete, whole-body sense of relief rather than a collection of tender spots that were pressed one by one.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR ASHIATSU MASSAGE
-
Your nervous system has to feel safe before your tissue will relax. When your mind is racing or your body is guarding, muscle braces against pressure no matter how skilled the technique. So the session is built to get you there first: broad, sustained contact instead of quick or unpredictable movement, steady pressure instead of digging, a pace slow enough that your body stops anticipating the next thing and starts trusting what's happening. That shift is what makes the deep work possible.

Full body? The entire hour on your upper body? Tell us what you want addressed and we'll build the session around it.

Stay hydrated with water and electrolytes. You need extra in our dry climate after your massage. Let your body absorb the work; a walk is great.
Is Ashiatsu Massage Safe during Pregnancy and Postpartum?
You must be out of your first trimester, and you must be cleared for deep tissue massage from your doctor. Our pre and post-natal Ashiatsu Massage session is a highly specialized massage that is designed to support you and your changing body throughout pregnancy. Each session is customized to YOUR needs, addresses the aches, pains, and stress you may experience during pregnancy and is safe to receive after your first trimester up to your due date.
We utilize a special side-lying bolstering system so that our clients are comfortable during the session. We do not have bolsters or tables with holes for the belly to lie face-down, as there are risks associated with this positioning.
